Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

Echoes of a shimmering lifeThis is a featured page

Lisa was a friend who never ceased to surprise, and frankly, to amaze those who knew her.

This place, this sanctuary, is somewhere that friends and people who knew Lisa, even fleetingly, can have their say.

As a friend of both Lisa and Ayumi I was asked, by Yumi, to create a place, not as a shrine so much as a place for others to celebrate the life of one so dear.

The idea of creating a 'wiki' style site was to allow friends free rein to not just respond and comment, but to create their own entries that fully express their feelings.

As those who knew Lisa are very much aware, she expressed herself openly and I feel it would be a fitting tribute to her if you, her friends, do likewise. Please do not feel constrained in any way but rather express fully, and in whatever language feels comfortable. This is not a place for judgment as Lisa would have wanted it.

NOTE: When you want to write something, please use the 'add new page' feature on the right of this page under the section marked 'Page Toolbox', otherwise there will be a series of comments and no new pages. Just a very gentle reminder that a wiki is not the same as a blog; you can add entirely new entries (pages), not just comment on existing content as on a blog. You do not need an account.

New pages will appear in the left menu under 'Navigation', and can be edited and commented upon.

Thank you,
Marc.

I can't believe she's gone. 'Lisa' was a friend of mine from multiple sites: SU, Flickr, LJ. We talked about life and cars and beaches and work and relationships. We had been talking a few days before she disappeared and I hadn't been back to her blog until today. It makes me very sad to know she's gone.

She was a rare individual. Very passionate about what life had to offer. I watched her change into a purer, even more passionate person after she met Yumi and I was very proud of her.

She was very successful in business and brought her typical drive to that part of her life as well. This is from the last email she wrote to me "Yeah passion is what keeps me going in business and in life. There have been days when I just wanted to chuck it in but the desire to get the job done pushes me."

She loved greatly and was greatly loved. Ta, Lisa. Cheers.

Marc-wiki From Marc - my recent absences 0 Apr 28 2007, 1:02 PM EDT by Marc-wiki

I apologies for not having been active here, or elsewhere very much recently, but I've been handed rather a huge project and I've had to dedicate myself exclusively to it.

Despite this, I do monitor this wiki and try to assist and make corrections where needs be. I am otherwise occupied but never far away.

Yumi often mentions the blogs and asks to be remembered to all of her friends. She is back in Japan for a brief while although she is scheduled for some overseas work and travel soon. As far as mobility goes, Yumi has taken up Lisa's baton and is running all over the world with it.

Love to you all,
Marc.
